Off-road fun on offer from Honda

You don’t need four wheels to have fun off-road.

YOU can now get your hands on an off-road Honda for less.
The Japanese bike manufacturer has introduced a range of offers on its 2011 and 2012 off-road machines.
Class leading and championship winning machines the CRF250R and CRF450R moto cross bikes and the CRF250X and CRF450X enduro machines are all available on low rate finance. For a minimum 10 per cent deposit that means you could ride one away from £140 a month (dependent on model and terms).
Brad Anderson swept all before him this year by riding his CRF450R to claim the British MX1, British Masters MX1 and Red Bull Pro National titles.
In the MX2 championship, Pulse Racing DB Honda’s Elliott Banks-Browne claimed second place overall.
There will also be engine updates for the CRF450R and CRF250R, along with wider footpegs, while the CRF150RB will see engine updates for improved power, torque and handling.All three will feature new Honda Racing-inspired graphics.
The CRF450R has better front and rear suspension with more rigid fork outer tubes, plus a tough and lightweight Honda Progressive Steering Damper. Along with new footpegs,riders have greater stability on rough terrain and improve steering.
Changes on the CRF250R’s engine include an all-new cylinder head and new camshaft with mid-range power and torque. Other changes to this lightweight off-roader include new Pro-Link rear suspension linkage for enhanced traction and improved chassis control, new suspension settings and longer and wider footpegs for stable running.
Honda’s CRF150RB will have a revamped liquid-cooled 149cc four-stroke engine giving  more power, torque and drivability across a wider rev range. Revised suspension settings mean a 37mm inverted Showa front fork and Pro-Link rear suspension system gives better handling.
Honda’s off-road machines start from just £1,200 for the CRF50F mini-bike, with the CRF70F and CRF100F fun off-roaders priced at £1,300 and £1,800 respectively.
Of the bigger machines, the CRF150RB is available at £3,800, with the CRF250R and CRF450R (new 2012 model) motocrossers coming in at £6,200 and £6,450 respectively. The 2011 CRF250R is priced at £5,800R.
The enduro-inspired ‘X’ specification 250 and 450 models for 2012 are £5,600 and £5,850, with the 2011 model CRF450X priced at £5,450.
Honda’s 2012 CRF ‘R’ specification machines are available now, with the CRFs in enduro ‘X’ trim available from November.
