Dacia Logan MCV Ambiance 0.9 TCe 90 MCV review, road test report

Dacia Logan MCV Ambiance 0.9 TCe 90 MCV review, road test report

THE introduction of the Romanian Dacia brand is having quite an effect on the UK car market, and people are buying them as fast as the dealers can get their hands on them.
This Dacia Logan MCV Ambiance 0.9 TCe 90 estate car, (MCV standing for Maximum Capacity Vehicle) doesn’t look as modern as some of the latest models’ designs from other manufacturers, but it certainly doesn’t look bad, and comes complete with roof rails, so it’s handy for fitting a roof rack to carry luggage, bike carriers, top boxes and the like.

SEAT Leon Cupra and Cupra 280 road test review

SEAT Leon Cupra and Cupra 280 road test review

WITH the new SEAT Leon Cupra you get two cars for the price of one. Ok, not literally, but what you do get is one car with two very different characters and you can switch between the two at the touch of a chequered flag button on the dash.
Comfortable to drive every day, or one of the best track day cars you can buy, the new Cupra is as good as it gets in the hot hatch world and is already a record breaker.

Jaguar F-Type V6 S review & road test report

Jaguar F-Type V6 S review & road test report

IN my opinion, the E-Type Jaguar is the most beautiful car ever made and I have dreamed of owning one for years, although I admit it’s sadly a dream I am now unlikely to ever realise.
The new F-Type has been heralded as that iconic car’s spiritual successor, but whether or not you believe that to be the case, having spent the last few days driving this stunning 380bhp machine, there is no doubt in my mind that this sleek automotive modern masterpiece is worthy of such lofty comparisons.

Volkswagen Tiguan Match 2.0 TDI 140PS review & road test report

Volkswagen Tiguan Match 2.0 TDI review & road test report

THE Volkswagen Tiguan, in its various guises, has been around since 2007, and despite its recent facelift, is beginning to show its age in my opinion, not having stood the test of time as well as the rest of the VW range.
Its chunky looks are in many ways timeless, but the front end and the car’s nose in particular, are the issue here.
The Tiguan is spacious inside and very comfortable to travel in. It’s also well kitted out for family duties, with aircraft-style fold-down trays on the back of the front seats, plenty of leg room and a decent sized boot.

Range Rover Autobiography 3.0 TDV6 review & road test

Range Rover review: We roadtest the latest 3.0 TDV6 Autobiography

THE iconic Range Rover needs little introduction, it’s as British as afternoon tea – and even if the company is now owned by the Indians, it’s still a fitting analogy!
Bigger, lighter, cleaner and greener, this all-new model really is something to behold, especially in the super-luxurious Autobiography specification of this beautifully kitted-out 4×4.

Peugeot 308 Feline THP 156 roadtest review

Peugeot 308 Feline THP 156 roadtest review

PEUGEOT are leading the way in a quiet revolution of interior design for their automobiles.
It started with the 208, and has now been introduced in the company’s new 308 model range. I am a fan, but there are more than a few dissenting voices – so what is all the fuss about?
The crux of the matter is the size of the steering wheel and the position of the instrument binnacle. The French carmaker has moved the instrument binnacle to the top of the dashboard so it sits higher, in the driver’s eyeline, a boon for safety, as you don’t have to take your eyes off the road for so long to check your instruments.

Vango Stelvio 200 tent packed up on Suzuki V-Strom Touring bike

Vango Stelvio 200 tent is perfect for touring on a motorcycle

TOURING on a motorcycle raises a fairly unique set of challenges – especially, if like me, you’re not very good at travelling light!
With only three boxes and a back seat however, it does tend to focus your mind on what is actually essential for a long weekend away, and the Suzuki luggage set on my V-Strom is surprisingly capacious if you pack carefully and use every last bit of space.
