SEAT invites you to enjoy some Mii time

SEAT says the Mii is not just for the city.

SPANISH carmaker SEAT is aiming to capture a large chunk of the city car market with its Mii.
It claims the small car is perfect for the urban lifestyle, offering great fun and economy in a practical bundle full of technology.
The sporty looking car has been well put together and the list of extras make it ideal for buyers to put their own stamp on.
Claimed low running and purchase costs should make the Mii affordable, too.
The Mii goes on sale in Spain shortly, and will go on sale throughout the UK and Europe next spring.
Just 3.55 metres in length, the compact Mii should find the going easy around crowded streets and will come initially as a three-door, with a five-door variant coming later.
Power will come from an all-new one-litre petrol engine with two power outputs – 60PS and 75PS, either of which should put plenty of oomph in the lightweight (854kg) Mii. The Ecomotive model as a low CO2 emissions figure of 97g/km.
Technology is a big component of the Mii’s design, with the City Safety Assist system adding to the car’s safety and the Seat Portable System allowing occupants to enjoy entertainment, navigation, mobile phone and the car’s other functions in a unified manner.
“The new Mii is the perfect partner for everyday urban life.  It is young and fresh, thought through to the very last detail and built to the finest quality.  The Mii brings clear SEAT identity to the sub-compact segment and is set to win a significant share of the market,” said James Muir, President of SEAT S.A.  “This is why the Mii is an important addition to the SEAT portfolio and a clear next step in our company strategy.  With the Mii, we are starting the most comprehensive model offensive in SEAT history.”
The Mii can nip easily into tight parking spaces, but small doesn’t mean cramped. Clever design has made the maximum use of interior space and there is plenty of room for four people and, at 251 litres, it offers the largest luggage space in the city car sector. Fold down the rear seats and this is boost to around 950 litres.
And if you need to make a longer journey, there’s no need to worry. Its space, comfort and sporting attributes mean the miles are eaten up easily.
