Peugeot 3008 Hybrid4 now on sale

Peugeot’s Hybrid4 can be ordered now from dealers.

THE world’s first full diesel hybrid, Peugeot’s 3008 Hybrid4, can now be ordered through your dealer.
Using a combination of diesel and electric power, the Hybrid4 offers low CO2 emissions and great fuel consumption — and it’s still good to drive.
Environmentally friendly, the car has four driving modes, ZEV (Zero Emission Vehicle), Sport, Auto and 4WD.
As well as the benefit of low fuel costs and road tax, the car still delivers 200bhp for power when you need it.
And the French carmaker is also celebrating gaining the 2011 What Car? Green Car Award in the SUV category.
Chas Hallett, Editor-in-Chief at What Car? said: “The world’s first production diesel hybrid is the best hybrid the What Car? team has driven.  The joint power sources work together seamlessly and emit only 99g/km of CO2. This means the car is exempt from both road tax and the London Congestion Charge. The SUV sector continues to be popular, and we can see a waiting list for the Peugeot growing very fast.”
Morgan Lecouper, Marketing Director commented: “Peugeot has long paved the way in diesel engine development and HYbrid4 is at the fore of automotive technology. Having the 3008 HYbrid4 being recognised in this way by What Car? is an honour and one we are extremely proud of.”
There are two versions of the 3008 HYbrid4 on sale: a 99g/km CO2 model for £26,995 and a 104g/km CO2 version priced at £28,495.
