Dick’s ditty says we’re all Moving Targets

THE relentless rise in the cost of motoring is on everyone’s mind as petrol prices go up and up, but most of us do nothing about it – apart from complain to each other.
However, Dick Appleton, an award-winning singer, songwriter and guitarist from Grimsby, in Lincolnshire, has recorded his frustrations in new song called Moving Targets – click the arrow to listen to his take on the cost of motoring.

If you would like to see and hear more of Dick’s talents, he is appearing in concert at the Caxton Theatre’s Novartis Suite on Saturday, May 21 when he will be featuring some songs from his new CD of light-hearted songs entitled Don’t Make Me Laugh! as well as some old favourites, which go under the heading of The Usual Tosh! The picture (above) is taken from his album cover.
Dick was recently commissioned by the BBC to write some songs for a Radioballad production and there will be one or two of those included in the show, as well as some of the amazing guitar picking pieces that Dick is famous for!
